Groundwork-1: Taking the mystery and angst out of determining your breakeven number
Understanding your financial picture is essential to building a resilient, sustainable, and profitable wellness practice.
In this highly interactive six-week live Zoom course, participants will learn how to better understand the financial numbers behind their business while developing greater clarity about their ideal client, market position, pricing, and profitability.
Through guided discussion, practical exercises, and weekly assignments, participants will be able to:
Identify and better understand their ideal client
Evaluate their marketplace and differentiate their practice
Define the unique value they bring to clients
Develop a concise and compelling 60-second introduction to their business
Analyze marketing efforts using meaningful metrics
Understand units of sale and pricing strategies
Calculate direct and indirect business expenses
Complete a break-even analysis
Develop a practical approach to planning for profit
Course Format
This live online course consists of six (6) consecutive weekly Zoom sessions, each lasting approximately 2.5 hours, for a total of 15 instructional hours.
Active participation is expected throughout the course. Participants should plan to attend each session, complete weekly assignments, participate in discussions, complete required presentations, quizzes, and course evaluations.
Minimum Enrollment: AMS Group reserves the right to cancel or reschedule this course if minimum enrollment is not met. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund or may transfer their registration to a future offering.

Refund Policy
Registration fees are non-refundable. If Advanced Massage Specialty Group, Inc. cancels the course, participants will receive a full refund or may elect to transfer their registration to a future offering.
Registration Transfer: Registrations are non-refundable but may be transferred one time to a future offering if requested in writing at least seven (7) days before the first class, subject to availability.
Course Changes: AMS Group reserves the right to reschedule or modify the course due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including technology failures, instructor illness, or other unforeseen events.

Our first session focuses on the foundations of floral design. From tool basics to flower care and simple composition tips, you’ll start building confidence and finding your creative rhythm.

Participants will be responsible for brining their own lunch, but we'll provide water and some additional snacks throughout the day.

With the basics fresh, we’ll dive into hands-on arranging. We’ll explore shape, scale, and movement while encouraging personal style through floral design.

To close the day, you’ll create a final piece to share with the group. We’ll reflect on your process and celebrate the creativity that unfolded.
