An Invitation to Somatic Mindfulness: Listening Differently

Thank you for registering for An Introduction to Somatic Mindfulness: Listening Differently. By completing your registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Registration
Registration is required to attend this event and is confirmed upon receipt of payment. Attendance is limited and registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Event Fee
The registration fee is $75 USD per participant. Early registration fee (available until 11:59 pm October 17, 2026) is $60 USD per participant.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Because attendance is intentionally limited and your registration reserves a seat for this learning experience, all registrations are final. No refunds will be issued for cancellations, scheduling conflicts, illness, travel delays, weather conditions, no-shows, or any other reason by participant.
Should AMS Group cancel the event, registered participants will receive a full refund of the registration fee they paid.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another individual by notifying AMS Group in writing no later than October 20, 2026.
Event Changes
AMS Group reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the event schedule, facilitator, or venue location should unforeseen circumstances arise. Participants will be notified promptly of any significant changes.
Participation
This is an educational and experiential learning experience.
Participation in discussions and experiential activities is entirely voluntary. Participants are encouraged to engage at a level that feels appropriate for their own comfort and well-being.
Health Disclaimer
Somatic Mindfulness is intended to support learning, self-awareness, and personal reflection.
This event is not medical care, mental health treatment, psychotherapy, counseling, massage therapy, or a substitute for professional healthcare services.
Participants are encouraged to consult with their physician or other qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical or psychological concerns.
Personal Responsibility
By attending this event, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily participating and accept responsibility for your own physical, emotional, and personal well-being throughout the evening.
You agree to participate in ways that are appropriate for your own needs and circumstances.
Photography & Media
Photographs or brief video recordings may be taken during the event for educational, archival, or promotional purposes by AMS Group and/or Somatic Mindfulness.
If you prefer not to appear in photographs or recordings, please notify an AMS Group representative upon arrival. Every reasonable effort will be made to honor your request.
Respectful Learning Environment
AMS Group is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
Participants are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism, courtesy, and respect toward fellow participants, facilitators, venue staff, and the learning experience. AMS Group reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior disrupts the event or compromises the safety or well-being of others. No refund will be issued in such cases.
Limitation of Liability
By registering for and attending this event, you acknowledge that participation is voluntary.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Advanced Massage Specialty Group, Inc. (AMS Group), Fernando Rojas, Somatic Mindfulness, Balance Arts Center, and their respective employees, contractors, volunteers, and representatives from claims, liabilities, losses, or damages arising out of or relating to your participation in this event, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Privacy
Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for event administration and communications related to this event. AMS Group does not sell or share participant information with third parties except as necessary to administer the event or as required by law.
